Benefits Of Membership
AAIM, The Management Association has a history of over 100 years of service as a vital resource to employers throughout Connecticut, the northeast, and across the nation. AAIM is affiliated with more than 50 state and regional employer associations nationwide. We have the experience and knowledge to assist you and your organization in handling and solving day-to-day employee relations challenges.
AAIM members receive a monthly newsletter reporting recent developments, trends, legislation, regulations, and court decisions that impact human resource management, and labor relations issues. Membership benefits include unlimited free access to AAIM’s professional staff support services including telephone consultations with AAIM’s attorneys and human resource specialists. These consultations are critical when an organization faces dilemmas involving employee relations, human resource policies and procedures, and legal issues where a wrong decision can become a liability. AAIM’s extensive library of human resource and legal materials can provide members with access to statutes, regulations, judicial decisions and policy guidance to alleviate or avoid various workplace issues and incidents.
Throughout the year, AAIM conducts a broad array of national and regional wage, salary and benefit surveys. Members are invited to participate in these surveys and receive complimentary copies of the survey reports. Survey reports are also available for purchase by members at discounted pricing.
AAIM provides its members with many training and development programs including seminars, briefing sessions, evening classes, and in-house training programs covering a wide variety of topics. These programs include supervisory development, organizational development, safety compliance, employee relations, technical skills development, customer service, human resources management and mandated education/certification.
Members also can contract for consulting services at reduced fees. AAIM provides expertise in the areas of industrial engineering, quality control, safety, compensation planning, job evaluation, EEO compliance, recruitment, outplacement counseling, and employment background checks.
Membership in AAIM is open to all employers that maintain a place of business, or who employ individuals that reside within the state of Connecticut.
